N2  - Die Forschungsarbeit erarbeitet eine soziologische Theorie der Lebensführung mithilfe der Systemtheorie Niklas Luhmanns. Sie untersucht die heutige Lebensführung in der modernen Gesellschaft anhand der Wechselbeziehungen von Individuum und Gesellschaft bzw. zwischen biologischen, psychischen und sozialen Systemen und ihren Umwelten. Die Entstehung von Hilfebedürftigkeit wird im Lebensverlauf untersucht. Die Arbeit kommt zu der zentralen Schlussfolgerung, dass Hilfebedürftigkeit ausgelöst werden kann durch Hyperinklusion ohne Möglichkeit zur Selbstexklusion. Als normative Fundierung einer Theorie der Lebensführung in der Sozialen Arbeit wird der Capability-Approach vorgeschlagen, dessen Grundannahmen eine interessante Affinität zu den sinntheoretischen Ausgangspunkten der Systemtheorie Luhmanns aufweisen.
N2  - The research developed a sociological theory of conducting life using the systems theory of Niklas Luhmann. It examines today's life in modern society based on the relations between individual and society and between biological, psychological and social systems and their environments. The emergence of the need for assistance is examined in the course of human life. The work comes to the central conclusion that the need for assistance can be triggered by hyperinclusion without the possibility of self-exclusion. As well the capability approach is proposed as normative foundation of a theory of conducting life for Social Work, whose basic assumptions have an interesting affinity for the starting points of Luhmann's theory of mind.
